In one of my bathrooms and eventually in one more that i will do i actually used 3 wide bullnose tiles instead of baseboard and no tile up the rest of the wall.

We just put vinyl tile on the floor with a 1 8 3 8 inch gap against the walls.

The walls aren t totally straight so the gap varies is it best to tile the wall all the way to the floor then use adhesive to stick baseboard to the wall tile.

I would remove the baseboard on the wall that you want to tile install the tile and then replace the baseboard.
